Kenjyco LLC is an education and recruitment agency focused on open source tools, course building, and contingency-based full-time direct hire placements in Software Engineering, Devops/SRE, and Data Science. We also help non-technical startup founders address their tech needs and get a handle on their biggest challenges so they can focus on growing their businesses and providing value to their clients.

Throughout the process of evaluating candidates, understanding their interests, and assessing their skills, some candidates are paid for solutions to more in-depth challenges.

Background

Diversity & Inclusion is important to me, especially as a person of color that has been a part of the tech industry for over 15 years. I have spent my free time over the last 6 years creating tools to make software developers' lives more enjoyable and resources to help more people get into tech and/or continue their self-directed learning journeys. Over those 6 years I have also been a volunteer teacher at a particular middle school in Chicago, introducing ideas about open source tools/philosophy, Python, Linux, brainstorming, note taking, critical thinking, and teamwork to help inspire an attitude of lifelong learning in students that are often not very engaged in school.
